What insurance company will not screw people over? I was with Western General and I was ripped off by having to pay monthly for no coverage at all on my car after an accident.

None of them do. If you had no coverage after an accident, you must have decided to say no to collision coverage and were at fault in the accident.

You should probably just educate yourself about your insurance policy. I can’t count how many times people have filed claims where I had to explain, no, you don’t have collision, rental, you have to pay a deductible, etc… When you buy a policy, make sure you have the coverage you need.

LOL! Did you read your policy, did you know what coverages you had, or did you just go for the cheapest rate. Not just you, but so many people out in the U.S. need to learn what insurance basically is and what they are getting for their money. Simply knowing some basic info can save you so much money later on in life.

the only company i’ve ever had has been State Farm. And, yes, like a good neighbor, state farm is there. I have had no trouble with them (i’ve had them for 7 years). But, I’ve only had one ‘accident’ with them, and that was hitting a deer (which is covered by comprehensive and doesn’t make your rates go up or anything.)

I’ve been hit by someone with progressive and another with geico, and they were both very nice to me as well.

As stated previously, always read your policy so you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into.
