Best answer:

Answer by oklatom
Unless you have a multi car carrier, they probably aren’t interested in what you can offer. For storage, they won’t pay you, they will use their own dealerships. Now sometimes there can be an opening in service to tow customer cars in, assuming they don’t have their own tow truck. I do all the tows for the biggest Chevrolet dealership here, but that wasn’t easy to get.

Answer by Yo’ Mama
Agents need to be licensed in the state in which they sell insurance. The have to pass a test to gain a license. Beyond that, insurance agents come from all walks of life; some with advanced educations and some not. Also, many agents take insurance industry courses to get certified as a CLU (certified life underwriter), CPCU (certified property and casualty underwriter) just to name a couple. You could be looking at his state license, a copy of some degree or the professional certifications he earned.

My boiler is a Procombi HE boiler. I tried to set the auto mode on the boiler, but now it doesn’t work. It still makes the noise that it’s supposed to when I switch it on, but the light only flashes green and does not turn red. Also, the heat does not reach either the heaters or the water. What can I do to fix it without calling in processionals? Thanks.

Answer by Eric Maron
Is this gas or electric fired?
It may be that your fuel source is not on.
Pilot light (if gas) is not working
Thermocouple is not working.
Need more exact info.
Photos would be great.

hi im planning on buying a car from a local Insurance Auto Auction. I know that the vehicle is a salvage title and the pictures they have shown are the pictures of the cars damage, but i wanted to know if they repair the car before they put it up for bidding or do they sell the car damaged and the buyer has to repair the car.

THANKS

Best answer:

Answer by dodge man
no the insurance company sells them as is,they accept the best offer they can get on them to make up for the loss they take on paying out for these cars, the only thing that they do is remove any blood from the car,by law they aren’t allowed to sell anything that has had blood in it,this is cleaned before they are sold, but all the damage you see will still be there, good luck.

Does a mechanic (not a dealership) typically add 10% or so to the price of a part (timing belts, water pumps, etc.) or do they just charge what they paid for it? I was just wondering if it’s cheaper to stop at O’Reilly Auto Parts, or the like, and pick up the part and give it to the mechanic to install it.

Best answer:

Answer by UCANTCME
YES IT IS CHEAPER FOR YOU TO DO THIS HOWEVER YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY TYPE OF WARRANTY FROM THE MECHANIC THAT INSTALLED YOUR PART, YOUR WARRANTY WILL BE WITH THE STORE THAT SOLD IT TO YOU.

IF YOU DO THIS AND THE PART FAILS THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE IT INSTALLED AGAIN.

TRY FINDING AN INDEPENDENT AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR SHOP INSTEAD OF THE DEALER OR ANY CHAIN STORE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE OVERALL MORE PLEASED WITH THE PERSONAL SERVICE THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE.

Answer by Karen B
If it’s still open then they might have a medical claim against them (from the other party) You can’t ask an ins. company the close a claim- They will close the claim when all is settled – believe me, they want it closed as quickly as you do!

I have an auto insurance policy with my spouse. He was in an accident and filed a claim. He is not planning to buy another car and is going to use public transport. If I drop him from my policy, will my rates still go up because of his claim even though I was not involved in the accident? If I go with a different insurance company only for myself, will they also quote higher rates because of the claim?

Best answer:

Answer by dick_tracy
since you are married you are like one in cali ( I dont know where you are) but if you are in cali his rates would effect you because you are married to him. Alot of insurance companys go by the registration so if he is on there he would pose a problem but if not you could get away with it. let the agent you are working with know. they cant help you if they dont know whats going on. If they dont help move on. You would be suprised on what companys work with you.
