gave it a 4 b/c its too small in diameter to fit into my cigarette socket. Comes with an adapter but that is too big for the socket. But besides that, the light is bright and its got nice weight to it since its body is all metal.

This is a great replacement for the useless lighter in my 2007 Lexus IS250. I now have a flashlight thats always ready whenever I need it. Its very well made, and I’m glad I did not “cheap out” and go for the less expensive versions. This fits in my lighter socket WITHOUT requireing the adapter they send with it, so it sits nice and low allowing the ashtray door to close. It glows a cool blue while charging, but as a flashlight the beam is surprisingly bright. Very pleased with this.

Fits perfectly in my 96 Camry without the adapter. It slides in loosely but when it reaches the back it has a nice snap that locks it into place almost like its made to do that. I would have liked it more if there was something indicating if it has a full charge. I thought maybe the blue light would turn off when its full but hasn’t done it yet. Although it makes it easy to find in the dark.

I purchased two of these lights, one for myself and one for my room mate. These lights are very bright and its great that charge in the cigarette lighter outlet in my truck. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star rating was the charger. When I purchased the lights, I assumed they plugged straight into the outlet like my room mate’s father’s volkswagen flashlight. Unfortunately they have an adapter that plugs the light into the outlet. Its still a great deal and very bright; I’m just afraid that the plastic adapter may get lost if the flashlights are being used whereas the volkswagen flashlight has no adapter to get lost or broken. However, it’s still a great alternative to buying an expensive rechargeable streamlight or maglite with more complicated wiring harnesses that and bolt on application; this one just plugs right in and is ready to go with no bulky wires and it actually looks pretty good sticking out of the socket (even the adapter doesn’t look too bad, just not as good as no adapter). Of course the power of the light doesn’t necessarily compare with that of a streamlight or D-cell maglite but it’s also 1/8 of the size and is at least as bright as comparably sized mag and stream lights. All in all its a great product and you never have to worry about being without a flashlight or dead batteries if something happens on the road.

I have a 2006 Toyota Sequoia. The flashlight and charger fit into the cigarette lighter but it doesn’t form a tight enough connection so the flashlight doesn’t charge.
